A recent study of the female version of Viagra called flibanserin showed that an additional half a satisfying sexual encounter per month is all that women can look forward to when taking the new drug. Side effects such as dizziness, nausea and fatigue caused many of the women to drop out of the clinical trial.

This study reveals that evidence for effectiveness and safety is lacking. The summary was that physical fitness, a healthy diet and good relationships were safer and a more effective approach to enhancing sexual encounters.

It seems that the old fashioned approach of a nice meal, flowers, chocolates and romance win out over the drug approach.
